Supposedly I was to become a cinema camera operator when I was 18 years old and studying at Stavrakou College. However, somewhere at that stage an old but very good camera came into my possession...a ZENIT with a telephoto lens. And so began my interest in photography. I started experimenting with that camera and it wasn’t long after that i bought my new camera as it was necessary for Cinema and TV College. At the same time I worked at my father’s coffee shop.

 When I turned 21 I met a photographer and became his assistant. However that wasn’t enough for me. Things slowly fell into place when I tried my luck at sports photography. I really enjoyed the field of professional sports and so I was initiated into sports photojournalism. Over time I became a member of the Photojournalist Association of Greece and concentrated mainly on football and basketball. However,

I did go through various other sports too. Familiarizing myself with the theme of movement was something that excited me, and the beautiful image which is full of intensity and energy is always impressive. However, learning what it took to reach to succeed in capturing that image, is what truly fascinates me.Besides the sports field I also photograph weddings, functions,products and various graphic creations.

 I was fairly lucky to have worked via a photojournalist agency for some amazing sports events such as Champions League, Europa League with many big names in sport. I worked for various sports papers like Athlitiki Echo, Ora ton Spor, Fos and Goal as well as Trifilli and Triponto magazines and websites such as contra.gr.

I live in Athens with my wife Eli and my two children Marco and Adrianos.
